Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) hat das Gender-Projekt Bi:tasteMINT der Universität Bielefeld als modellhaftes Beispiel für vorbildhafte Gleichstellungsarbeit beurteilt und in den Instrumentenkasten der DFG aufgenommen. Bi:tasteMINT wurde darüberhinaus als herausragendes "Innovatives Modellbeispiel" ausgewählt.
